Option 1: Arusha national park

Arusha national park is the closest park to do a game drive among all Tanzania’s northern circuit national parks. It is only about 30Km from Arusha town and about 70km From Moshi town. Its main attractions are the Mount Meru, second highest mountain in Tanzania, wild animals such as Zebras, Buffaloes, Elephants, Black and White colobus monkey, the Momela lake with Flamingoes and its beautiful landscape

Itinerary

Very early in the morning, you will start driving from Arusha/Moshi to Momela gate. After registration, you will start your game drive, driving through the forest, then open grasslands and a visit to the lake and Ngurudoto crater. This day you will also have an option of doing a short walking safari with a ranger. In the evening start driving back to Arusha/Moshi.

Option 2: Lake Manyara national park

Lake Manyara is mostly famous for its tree climbing lions, lake Manyara and the Rift valley. On this day’s trip you will also get a chance to see a number of wild animals such as Zebras, Impalas, dik dik, Giraffes, Elephants and many bird and plant species. Distance: From Moshi: 220KM, From Arusha: 140KM

Itinerary

Very early in the Morning at 6:00AM you will start driving to Lake Manyara national park. You will enjoy your game drive as you start driving through the underground water Forest, then the Savana Plains. The views of the Lake coloured with Pink Flamingos are breath-taking. On this day you are likely to see African wild animals such as Lions, zebras, buffaloes, Giraffes and Among Others. Lunch will be in Picnic Style at a picnic area so as to save time and spend more time in the park. You will start driving Back to Arusha/Moshi at around 3:30PM.

Option 3: Tarangire national park

Tarangire national park, which boasts for its large numbers of elephants and Huge Baobabs Trees. The park is only 118KM from Arusha and 198KM from Moshi town. One of the best parks to Do a game drive on the northern circuit.

Itinerary

Very Early in the Morning at 6:00AM you will leave Moshi/Arusha (After Breakfast). And drive to Tarangire national park. Once you are in the park, you will do a game drive for 4 hrs with Lunch in Picnic Style. From Tarangire your driver will take you to a Maasai Boma where you will be able to witness their way of life. You will Spend about 30 Minutess at here then start driving back to Moshi /Arusha. Animals you expect to See at Tarangire national park are Big Herds of elephants, Giraffes, Hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, Leopards, Lions, Baobab Trees and Lots of Bird Species.

Option 4: Ngorongoro conservation authority

The main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority is the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater, which formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago, is 610 meters (2,000 feet) deep and its floor covers 260 square kilometers (100 square miles). Estimates of the height of the original volcano range from 4,500 to 5,800 meters (14,800 to 19,000 feet) high. The elevation of the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level. The Crater was voted by Seven Natural Wonders as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa in Arusha. Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Large animals in the crater include the black rhinoceros, the African buffalo or Cape buffalo, and the hippopotamus.

Itinerary

Pick up at the hotel or place that will be in Arusha / Moshi very early in the morning, drive to Ngorongoro conservations authority on the way will pass the escarpment of the great rift valley of east Africa. At the main gate of Ngorongoro will get the short briefing about the conservation area. Game drive to the Olmot crater which is the biggest crater in east Africa which has hightest concentration of wildlife (Wildlife arena). Around Pm will have lunch at Ngoitoktok Picnic site with beautiful view of the crater. Continue with the game drive out of ngorongoro to Arusha.
